OutReach LGBT Community Center is leading a coalition of organizations and businesses that will host the Pride Parade in Madison Wisconsin this year.
We have a new route thanks to Mayor Paul Soglin and the City of Madison' Street Use Committee. We will stage in the new Central Park, march down Ingersol to Williamson Street, up Willy St., cross Blair, march up Wilson and then up King St. to the Capitol Square. We will march around the Square and then have a rally and entertainment at the top of State St.
Musical guests include Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus, and the event features Lyndsay Evans and SEXY ESTER.
Setup starts at 11:00 am. Vehicles and floats should arrive by 12:00 noon. We will stage at Central Park at 1:00 pm. The parade will step off at 2:00 pm. The rally and entertainment will start about 3:00 pm. The event will end by 5:00 pm.
