Lisa will address if without mental health we cannot be healthy. We all experience emotional ups and downs from time to time caused by events in our lives. Mental health conditions go beyond these emotional reactions to specific situations. They are medical conditions that cause changes in how we think and feel and in our mood.
Lisa has been working for policy changes to provide an equitable environment for ALL in our community.
We are the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Illinois. We serve Boone, Stephenson, Winnebago and the surrounding northern Illinois counties.
