Catye Palomino is delighted for any opportunity to share her useless knowledge and nonsense for a captive audience. As a veteran public school teacher, Catye has taken full advantage of the free stage time for testing new material. When she’s not changing lives in the classroom or telling jokes in a sketchy bar, she can be found rocking Teen Jeopardy! Though a youngster in the world of comedy, just turned 1 in February, Catye has performed in many Chicagoland venues and has been an active part of the vibrant stand up comedy scene all over the state of Michigan. She has performed with the Just Dickin’ Around Comedy in Chicago, The Laugh Riot Dolls and at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, both in Detroit. She is currently a semi-finalist in the running for the title of Funniest Person in Grand Rapids in 2015. The highlight of Catye’s comedy career was when she was given the opportunity to host and open for national headlining comedian Fortune Feimster in Grand Rapids in the Summer of 2014. Catye is proud of her teenage boy wardrobe and would like to thank her parents for spelling her name in a way no one knows how to pronounce.
Scott Duff is an Artistic Associate and founding member of About Face Theatre with whom he helped to create over a dozen original works including Xena Live! Parts 1 and 2, We 3 Lizas, and his one-man show, Alone, which premiered at Chicago’s Museum of Modern Art and transferred to iO.
Scott has studied improvisation at the Second City Conservatory and has performed as an improviser, comic, and host at venues across Chicagoland. In his more serious moments, he has performed with Steppenwolf, Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, ATC, and Lookingglass Theatre, and he can be seen in a variety of independent films.
Scott is an award-winning theatre educator, food writer, and part-time martini enthusiast.
